Experience behind the advice

From business problem
to working technology.

Thirty years of consulting, building companies, and working alongside the people who make technology happen.

These selected projects show how I work: understand the need, bring focus to the plan, and coordinate the technical execution. Each story describes the engagement at the time of the work.

01 / DELIVERY UNDER PRESSURE

Cleveland Browns: Express Access

The challenge

In summer 2020, the Browns needed a touch-free way for fans to enter the stadium ahead of the NFL season.

My role

I worked with the Wicket team to connect its facial authentication platform with custom development shaped around the Browns’ operational needs. The work required a clear scope and close coordination between the technology and venue teams.

What was delivered

The system launched in September 2020. My original project account describes an eight-week journey from concept to kickoff.

What this demonstrates
Technical coordination, practical scoping, and delivery against a fixed deadline.

02 / PRODUCT DIRECTION & DEVELOPMENT

PMHScribe: turning a vision into a product

The challenge

Founder Allison Sikorsky wanted to reduce the documentation burden for behavioral health professionals. The initial idea needed a focused starting point.

My role

I helped narrow the scope to an AI scribe for generating SOAP notes from therapy sessions, then worked through product development and refinement. FastTrack provided technical assistance as the concept became a SaaS product.

What was delivered

The project account records a soft launch in early 2025, followed by a July 2025 launch announcement. The work established a focused product around a specific clinical workflow.

What this demonstrates
Helping a founder translate domain expertise into a product a technical team can build.

03 / BUSINESS SYSTEMS & WORKFLOW

Vista Safety Consulting: a custom operations application

The challenge

Vista needed a way to manage client records, contract status, and operational information in a system suited to its day-to-day work.

My role

I designed and deployed a custom line-of-business application using the Rukovoditel low-code framework, adapted under the Gbott Pro brand. The application covered client onboarding and contract lifecycle tracking.

What was delivered

The project account describes a deployed system and training that enabled the team to adjust workflows and reports as its needs evolved.

What this demonstrates
Understanding an operating business, building the right system, and helping the team use it.

Founder & operator

A career built around
technology and execution.

Switchfast Technologies

I founded Switchfast in 2001 and grew it to approximately $10 million in annual revenue. The company appeared on the Inc. 5000 for eight consecutive years before its eventual sale to Ascend Technologies.

MeetBall & sports technology

I founded MeetBall in 2012 to help people find one another at events. It was sold to ISM Connect in 2017. My work expanded across NASCAR, Minor League Baseball, MLB, MLS, and the NFL, including facial authentication projects for the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew.

Consulting since 1995

I studied mechanical engineering at the University of Notre Dame and began consulting during the 1990s technology boom. My experience spans startups, established businesses, enterprise environments, and sports organizations.

FastTrack & practical execution

FastTrack brought together software development, systems integration, and workflow consulting. Its 2025 launch announcement described work for PMHScribe and early development for Thryve, a golf-club experience management concept.

The common thread is helping people turn an idea or obstacle into clear priorities and executable work.
